Men of Excellence

Men of Excellence (MOX) provides programming and support which enhances the personal growth and holistic success of Men of Color at the University of Mississippi. The organization intends to encourage, cultivate, and honor confidence, integrity, self-respect, and self-esteem to prepare MOX members to serve as positive role models and mentors for the campus and surrounding communities. Men of Excellence welcomes all who are committed to brotherhood, faith, perseverance, and mentorship. Men of Excellence is a sponsored registered student organization (RSO) and a programmatic initiative through the Center for Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Engagement. This structure ensures the organization is thoroughly supported by a university department that has sufficient capacity and goal alignment to support its vision and purpose while also honoring the history of the organization and the autonomy of its leadership.
