Barbershop Talks

Barbershop Talks, sponsored by Men of Excellence, is an open forum for men of color and the University of Mississippi Community to engage with one another to discuss issues relevant to men of color, which are not limited to race, masculinity, and issues of social justice both on campus and in the larger community. Faculty members, community members, and motivational speakers as well as activists have been previously invited to lead the dialogues. Local barbers are invited to provide haircuts to program participants and attendees free of charge.
